Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a mahogany-tinged core and coppery edges, a warm, wine-hued glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry-soaked aroma of dried figs, dates and raisins, bright orange zest and toffee. Rich cocoa, lacquered oak and toasted almond mingle with warm spices—cinnamon, clove and nutmeg—plus a whisper of leather and tobacco. A velvety malt sweetness threads through, with coffee bean and cedar notes completing the luxurious, royal bouquet.
Palate
Opulent and velvety on the palate, this Macallan unfurls with rich dried-fruit sweetness—fig, raisin and orange zest—kissed by dark chocolate and toasted almond. Sherry influence weaves spice, nutmeg and cinnamon through supple oak, delivering a refined, long warm finish that lingers with elegance.
Finish
An exquisitely long, velvety finish where polished oak and rich sherry weave a tapestry of dried fig, raisin and orange zest. Spices—nutmeg and cinnamon—stain the palate, tapering to a warm, resinous wood echo that lingers with quiet sophistication.
