Macallan Queen’s Coronation is a very limited edition set created to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II Coronation. A beautifully designed box which features 2 x 350ml bottles of Macallan single malt, the first conveying the Queen as she was in 1953, aged just 26, and the second detailing how she is today.

Nose

Opulent sherry aroma with orange zest, fig and raisin, layered over dark chocolate and toffee. Vanilla and caramel mingle with toasted oak, while cinnamon and clove spice lend a regal lift—an elegant, age-softened bouquet that speaks to Macallan’s hallmark richness.

Palate

Luxuriously full-bodied with a lush sherried sweetness that coats the palate. Raisin, orange peel and dark chocolate unfold, lifted by hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Velvety oak threads through the fruit, delivering creamy, spicy depth that lingers into a long, warming finish.

Finish

Long, velvety and opulent, with sherried sweetness and dark fruit fading into polished oak. Cocoa, orange zest and spice linger, while a refined warmth carries into a lasting, elegant glow.

The Macallan
Macallan was founded by Alexander Reid in 1824 on the Easter Elchies Estate above the River Spey, and it was one of the first distilleries in Scotland to become legally licensed. The name comes from the older place name “Maghellan”, combining the Gaelic magh for fertile ground with a reference to St Fillan, who was associated with the church that once stood on the estate. Easter Elchies House, which remains central to the brand’s identity, dates from around 1700 and still sits at the heart of the estate.
