Tasting Notes

Nose

On the nose there are aromas of hard plums, sea air and forest floors. Followed by new car, old leather and a forgotten fruit bowl. Finished off with malty grains, sprouted rye, honey, apples and a touch of balsamico.

Palate

The palate is divergent but balanced, with flavours of fresh blackberry, stewed stone fruits, old oak and new timber. This is rounded off with notes of bourbon, brine, butterscotch.

Finish

There is a faintly floral finish through damp autumnal decay.
