A well aged1979 Tamnavulin single malt, matured in a combination of first-fill sherry butts and bourbon barrels for 39 years, before being bottles for the distillery's Vintage Collection. Initially matured in Bourbon barrels then transferred to 30 Years Old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry butts before being returned to First Fill Bourbon barrels for a final maturation period to conclude the 39 year maturation.
Palete - Tropical pineapple, roasted coffee and decadent Black Forest fruits.

Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold sheen and mahogany edges, warm and luminous.
Nose
Aromas of sun-kissed Mediterranean oranges mingle with ripe figs and almonds, lifted by the warm, inviting scent of freshly baked ginger cake.
Palate
On the palate, tropical pineapple brightness rides a wave of roasted coffee and decadent Black Forest fruits. Rich dark-cherry and fig mingle with creamy oak, delivering a full-bodied, velvety mouthfeel. The finish lingers with espresso-kissed cocoa and warm spice.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish—espresso and cocoa unfold into dried fruits, orange zest and almond notes, with a gentle sherry sweetness and warm bourbon oak lingering into a velvet afterglow.
