Bottled by North Star Spirits for the UK as part of the 10 Year Birthday Bottling series, this 2013 Tamnavulin was released at 12 years old. Matured in four octaves and bottled at 57.9% ABV, it had an outturn of 290 bottles.
Octave maturation gives the cask a more active role, bringing plenty of richness and concentration to the whisky. That extra cask influence suits Tamnavulin’s softer Speyside style well, adding depth, spice and sweetness while still allowing the distillery’s fruit-led character to show.

Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery shimmer and a honeyed, sunlit glow.
Nose
Stewed fruit with creamy vanilla and rich toffee, lifted by warming spice. A softly lifted orchard-fruit aroma, framed by caramel sweetness and a gentle touch of oak.
Palate
Rich and rounded on the palate, orchard fruit ripeness sits alongside sweet malt, while oak spice threads through with caramel notes. At 57.9% ABV, it carries a poised warmth, shaping a full-bodied, well-integrated sweetness and spice.
Finish
Long and warming, this finish lingers with orchard-fruit sweetness, a kiss of caramel and vanilla, and gentle spice wrapped in soft oak. The octave-driven richness sustains a velvety fade that warms long after the sip.
