Out of stock
The Infrequent Flyers range is a series of independent single cask bottlings from the Alistair Walker Whisky Company, created to showcase distinctive and often unusual casks from distilleries across Scotland. Each release highlights the unique character of an individual cask, with selections often coming from distilleries or cask types that are rarely seen as single malt releases.
Bottled in small batches or as single casks, Infrequent Flyers whiskies are typically presented without chill filtration or added colouring, often at natural cask strength, allowing the whisky’s full character and personality to shine through. The name itself reflects the rarity of these releases - whiskies that appear only occasionally, offering enthusiasts the chance to experience something a little different from the ordinary.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep mahogany amber with coppery highlights and a tawny glow.
Nose
Somewhat funky, earthy and savoury on the nose with a balsamic undertone, then fruit emerges: raisins, apricots and baked apples.
Palate
From the PX cask, this is luxuriously sweet and full-bodied: Demerara sugar, crème brûlée, molten dark-brown toffee and rich honeycomb. Semi-sweet dark chocolate and marinated sultanas lend depth, while cinnamon and nutmeg weave a warm, lingering spice through the finish.
Finish
A sumptuous, long finish that lingers with raisin and fig sweetness, molten toffee and Demerara sugar. Spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg, it drifts into dark chocolate and toasted oak, leaving a warm, PX‑kissed glow that slowly fades.
