Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a honey-gold core and burnished copper edges. The colour glows with a sunlit mahogany-bronze sheen, hinting at sherry influence and time spent in the cask.
Nose
Warm and inviting on the nose: honeyed malt with orchard fruits, vanilla and polished oak. Sherry-influenced notes yield raisin, fig and a touch of cocoa, balanced by creamy toffee and a hint of almond. A lively 57.1% alcohol lift keeps it vibrant, weaving sweetness with depth for a rich, lingering aroma.
Palate
Warm, full-bodied palate with an oily mouthfeel. Ripe apples and honeyed malt mingle with dried fruit, almond and orange zest, tempered by rich sherry notes of toffee and cocoa. Spices skim the edges—cinnamon, nutmeg—while polished oak lingers with a warming, persistent finish.
Finish
Long, warming finish with sherry-soaked fruit, toasted oak and subtle spice. Dried fruit lingers, faded cocoa and almond nuances echo as the warmth slowly fades.
