Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with copper-bronze undertones and a mahogany sheen, a luxurious sherry-warmed glow.
Nose
Opulent, aged bouquet of polished oak and beeswax, with dried fruits—raisins, figs, dates—laced with orange marmalade and burnt sugar. Sherry influences weave through velvety toffee, vanilla and almond, while subtle spice and leather add depth, and a faint tobacco nuance lingers on the finish.
Palate
Silky and refined, this Strathisla delivers orchard fruit sweetness folded with sherry whispers and polished oak. Rich fig and toffee mingle with spice, tapering to a creamy, velvety mouthfeel and a long, elegant finish that leaves almond, malt and coffee-nut notes lingering.
Finish
Long, elegant and velvet-soft, the finish carries a refined sherry lift that slowly dissolves into almond, dried fig and cocoa. Subtle oak and spice linger, a warm, dignified tail that remains with graceful sophistication.
