Behind each of the calendar's 24 doors, you will discover tiny tales of the internationally acclaimed distillery on Jutland's west coast.

Stauning Rye is made with 70% floor malted rye and 30% malted barley. It is a very different type of rye whisky, where the combined malted grain and pot distillation makes the cereal notes shine in a smooth, full-bodied but nuanced whisky. Matured in new American oak barrels and bottle un-filtered.

Stauning
Stauning was founded in 2005 on Denmark’s west coast by nine friends from outside the drinks industry, who began with two small pot stills in an old butcher’s shop in the village of Stauning. A major step followed in 2018, when the distillery opened its purpose-built new site, reflecting how far the project had grown from its early experimental beginnings.
