From Danish distillery, Mosgaard, located near the Southeastern coastline of the Danish island, Funen comes their Oloroso Cask Whisky which is an un-peated single malt whisky matured in 50 litre casks built from ex-Oloroso Sherry casks which have previously matured fine Oloroso Sherry casks for 10-30 years.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Luxuriously deep amber with a warm coppery glow and subtle mahogany undertones.
Nose
Intense grist with caramel and orchard fruits, sun-kissed apples and pears, folded with a touch of toffee and a warm, inviting sweetness.
Palate
Juicy stone fruits dominate the palate—peaches and plums—with dried fruit notes and a whisper of citrus. Oloroso cask maturation adds rich sweetness, almond and toffee, delivering a creamy, balanced finish.
Finish
Bright citrus lingers with a buoyant zest, giving way to toasted almonds and subtle hazelnuts. A refined nutty warmth threads through the finish, leaving a fresh citrus echo.
