From Danish distillery, Mosgaard, located near the Southeastern coastline of the Danish island, Funen comes their Port Cask Whisky which is dark, intense and vinous with Spicy sweetness. Built from two types of old Port Wine casks, the staves are a mix of both Ruby and Tawny port wine resulting in a rich and well balanced whisky.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, dark ruby with warm tawny-tinged mahogany undertones, a wine-dark, velvety hue.
Nose
Opulent, vinous nose of rich red fruits—ripe cherries, plums and red currants—woven with Port cask sweetness and a hint of spice, hinting at a warm caramel undertone.
Palate
Velvety on the palate, dark grapes and ripe plums unfold with caramel sweetness and coffee depth, while orchard fruit notes provide a bright, balanced lift that lingers.
Finish
A spicy, floral finale unfolds with star anise, bitter almonds and cinnamon, leaving a warm, lingering glow and a hint of aromatic elegance.
