Mosgaard whisky is made with organic raw materials and distilled in copper pot stills, with maturation often taking place in smaller casks to build flavour at a younger age. Sherry, port, bourbon and peated styles have all played an important role, giving Mosgaard a broad Danish whisky profile that covers rich fruit, spice, smoke and cask-led sweetness.
Following a change of ownership in 2025, Mosgaard moved from Funen to Kolding, where it now shares facilities and expertise with Trolden Distilleri. Mosgaard remains focused on Danish single malt whisky, with recognised releases including Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, Palo Cortado, Port Cask and Black Peat expressions.
