Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, dark amber with mahogany edges and copper-gold highlights, a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
Opulent sherried aroma swells with dark fruit cake—figs, raisins and plums—layered with candied orange, cocoa and toasted almond. Subtle peat and maritime brine weave through warm spices: cinnamon, clove and vanilla sweetness, with a touch of oak. Rich, velvety and inviting, it promises depth and refined elegance.
Palate
Coastal peat and sherry sweetness weave through a rich, full-bodied palate. Dried figs, raisins and dates mingle with toffee, cocoa and brown sugar, while orange zest, vanilla and oak add spice and lift. A whisper of sea salt and smoke sits atop polished leather, finishing long with a warming, savoury fade.
Finish
The finish lingers long and luxurious, a maritime kiss of peat and oak giving way to rich sherried sweetness. Dried fruits, fig and raisin deepen, with cocoa and orange zest threads. Gentle spice tapers to a warm, coastal glow that echoes the Campbeltown air.
