SPEY Trilogia 10 Year Old is a triple cask matured single malt, combining bourbon, tawny port and peated cask influence before bottling at 46% ABV. That combination gives the whisky a broader, more layered style than a straightforward Speyside malt, with the bourbon casks providing sweetness and structure, the tawny port adding richer fruit, and the peated cask bringing a subtle smoky edge.
The result is a well-balanced whisky with more depth and contrast than the lighter side of the range. Fruit, sweetness, oak and gentle smoke all play a role, but none of them dominate, making this a rounded and characterful single malt with plenty of versatility.
