Nose

A classic Trutina light nose, with pear, spearmint and boiled sweets.

Palate

An initial lip-tingling, peppery warmth gives way to cream soda sweetness; with a splash of water the palate reveals pure Speyside heather honey, layering warmth with honeyed softness and subtle depth that lingers.

Finish

With age, the mouthfeel deepens into a warm, buttery-smooth finish that lingers with creamy richness and evolving depth.

Speyside Distillery
Speyside Distillery was the long-held vision of George Christie, who bought the site in 1962 and spent decades developing it from an old barley mill near Drumguish. Although the buildings were completed in 1987, distillation did not begin until 12 December 1990, giving the distillery a relatively modern start despite its older-looking setting and traditional appearance.
