Fumare was the first ever peated distillery bottling from Speyside Distillers, produced from peated barley which the distillery only used for a small amount of time each year. 100% matured in bourbon barrels, non chill-filtered and with no added colouring.

Colour
Deep amber with coppery sheen and warm golden highlights.
Nose
Peated barley pours a coastal, smoke-laden aroma: dark peat, char and iodine lifted by creamy vanilla and toffee from bourbon casks. Spiced oak, hints of orange zest and pear, with a subtle sea breeze.
Palate
Powerful yet refined, the palate opens with dusky peat and sweet vanilla from the bourbon cask, joined by toffee and almond notes. Rich honeyed depth, cocoa, and a hint of citrus zest drift through the smoke. Full-bodied and mouth-coating, with peppery spice and a touch of sea salt, finishing long with ember-like smoke and warm oak.
Finish
Long, peaty finish powered by bourbon vanilla, caramel and toasted oak. The smoke lingers with refined elegance, while peppery spice fans out as warmth fades. A citrus brightness cuts through, then the peat eases to a final, lingering ember of barley sweetness.
