This intriguing single malt was distilled back in 1994 at The Speyside Distillery. We anticipated a very clean and delicate style, typical of this distillery, but were stunned by the complexity of this amazing malt. As with most well-aged whiskies, the majority of its flavour is derived from the cask, but what a cask it must have been. It's a unique whisky that we haven't seen much of before, we needed to add it to our collection.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany edges and a coppery glow.
Nose
Aroma opens with vibrant orchard fruit—plums, strawberries, raspberries and peaches—brightened by a warm cinnamon spice.
Palate
Rich, complex, and intense on the palate, with ginger and turmeric delivering a vibrant wake. Flavours of plums, liquorice, and coffee beans unfold, while a lush, creamy mouthfeel coats the tongue.
Finish
Long and spicy, the finish coats the palate with cinnamon spice that lingers warmly, leaving a lasting, aromatic echo.
