Tasting Notes

Nose

Sweet tropical musk rises from the glass, unfolding a sun-warmed bouquet of coconut, lemon, orange and lime peel. Fresh and inviting, it hints at island warmth.

Palate

Banana chips, pineapple cubes, mixed spice and aniseed twists.

Finish

A very long and lush finish, that goes on to highlight both the sweet and spice influences of the oak.

His son Peter took up the reins soon after and built a significant business and by the end of the 19th century, when blended Scotch was becoming the fashion, Long John’s Dew of Ben Nevis was a successful brand.
