Tasting Notes

Colour

Pale gold with bright honey highlights and a whisper of amber at the rim, a sunlit, refined glow.

Nose

Aromas rise with foam bananas, vanilla and white chocolate, then drift to grapefruit bitterness and a faint old-book musk. Lemon sherbets, almond butter and soft toffee pennies unfold with time.

Palate

Delicate, well-rounded on the palate, with barley sugar and honey weaving through green fruits. Candied citrus peel lends brightness, while cedar wood and ancient oak spice provide quiet, time-touched depth.

Finish

Grapefruit returns on the finish, bright and zesty, tempered by a kiss of golden syrup that coats the palate with gentle sweetness and leaves a lingering citrus glow.

(Rose-BANK) Famous for very high quality, triple distilled malt, Rosebank Distillery can be found on the banks of the Forth and Clyde canal, between Edinburgh and Glasgow. With the exception of war time closures, Rosebank distilled until 1993 when it was closed, seemingly for good. Naturally over time bottlings have become scarce.
