Powerful and opulent on the palate, this cask-strength Old Pulteney delivers a wave of dark fruit—fig, raisin, orange—layered with vanilla and toffee from the bourbon legacy. A 46-month finish in a fresh sherry butt brings milk chocolate, toasted almond, and spice (cinnamon, clove) with a subtle coastal saltiness. Rich, full-bodied, long and warming.
Finish
Finishes long and warming, with red-fruited sherry sweetness, orange zest and dark chocolate, lifted by a maritime saltiness and baking-spice snap that slowly fades to oaken, nutty notes.
