Powerful, cask-driven aroma: toasted oak and rich vanilla frame lush notes of caramelized fruit, honey, and a whisper of citrus zest. Spices—pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg—lift through malt and resinous wood, delivering a refined, slightly racy edge. At full strength, the nose promises depth, elegance, and a long, warming finish.
Palate
Bold and impressive at 61.2%, this single-cask Nikka delivers a storm of vanilla and caramel atop a lush, fruit-drenched core. Thick with orchard fruit, honeyed peach, and dried citrus, it glides into toasted oak and subtle smoke, peppery spice building through the mid-palate. The finish is long, warming, and refined, leaving a lingering note of chocolate-drenched candied orange.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish unfurls with warming oak and spice, while orange zest, vanilla sweetness, and cocoa linger, fading into an elegant, enduring glow.
