Palate

Silky, full-bodied on the palate, this 18-year Miyagikyo from a single sherry cask floods the mouth with dark fruit and resinous sweetness. Mocha, fig, and cherry mingle with rich sherry notes, while polished oak, cinnamon, and clove weave a velvety, slightly oily texture. At 62% ABV, a warm, peppery spine drives a long finish of cacao, leather, and toasted almond.
