Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with copper-gold sheen and mahogany undertones; a rich, luminous glow that hints at sherry influence.
Nose
Opulent sherry-cask aroma, a tapestry of dark dried fruits—prune, fig, raisin—interlaced with orange zest and toffee. Nutty almond and hazelnut notes mingle with cocoa, cinnamon, and clove, all drifted on polished oak with a subtle hint of coffee.
Palate
Silky and opulent, revealing dense dried fruit—fig and raisin—with almond, toffee and dark chocolate. Sherry-cask warmth adds spice (cinnamon, clove) and a touch of orange zest. Velvety mouthfeel, brightened by oak, leading to a long, balanced finish with lingering nutty sweetness.
Finish
Opulent, long finish layered with dried figs and raisins, kissed by orange zest and cacao. Sherry richness glides through toasted almond and oak, delivering a warm, lingering spice that fades to an elegant, refined afterglow.
