Nikka Days is an elegant blend of grain and malt whiskies from Nikka’s Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. Ideal for the Spring season, Nikka Days is packaged in a distinctive bright yellow bottle reminiscent of the Japanese sun. This smooth, sweet, delicate whisky is great served neat, on the rocks, or over ice in a refreshing highball serve with your favourite mixer, such as ginger ale, soda, or sparkling apple juice.

Colour

Sunlit gold with pale amber edges; a bright, inviting straw-gold glow that hints at sweetness and finesse.

Nose

Sun-kissed and delicate, it opens with ripe apple and pear, drifting into honeyed vanilla and soft caramel. Subtle citrus zest and gentle malt grain weave through, with a touch of almond and light oak—quiet, elegant, inviting.

Palate

Silky and delicate on the palate, with a gentle sweetness and a refined blend of grain and malt. It glides smoothly, finishing clean and refreshing with a light, unobtrusive sweetness that lingers just enough to invite another sip.

Finish

An elegant, lingering finish of honeyed vanilla and orchard fruit, carried by soft malt and a whisper of oak. Subtle citrus zest and gentle spice emerge, then fade to a clean, refreshing glow that invites the next sip.

Nikka
Nikka was founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru, one of the key figures in the birth of Japanese whisky. The company began as Dai Nippon Kaju, with Yoichi Distillery completed the same year in Hokkaido, and the first bottle of Nikka Whisky followed in 1940. A second major milestone came in 1969 with the opening of Miyagikyo Distillery, giving Nikka two very different malt whisky styles to work with and helping define the house’s approach to blending.
