Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep antique amber with mahogany edges and copper-bronze glow—a warm, wine-hued gold that catches the light.
Nose
Opulent, mahogany-soft on the glass, this nose opens to dark fruit compote—fig, raisin and date—lifted by subtle sherry. Candied orange, espresso and cocoa mingle with leather and tobacco, while vanilla and toasted oak lend polished sweetness. A whisper of spice—cinnamon and clove—lingers, hinting at a long, velvety finish.
Palate
Silky, mouth-coating and deeply rich, the palate opens with dark dried fruits—fig and plum—framed by raisin, toffee and cocoa. Sherry warmth threads through velvety oak, with subtle spice, leather and espresso, delivering a long, refined finish that lingers with tobacco and polished sweetness.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with generous dried fruit notes - fig and prune - framed by cocoa and dark chocolate. Sherry sweetness lingers, carried by silky oak and a whisper of spice, finishing with a warm, lingering peppery glow and subtle tobacco.
