Tasting Notes
Colour
Pale straw-gold with a sunlit, light amber hue; a natural, delicate warmth that glints at the rim.
Nose
Bright, fresh nose of vanilla and orchard fruit with lemon zest, lightly spiced. Subtle toffee and shortbread mingle with banana cream, while delicate oak from first-fill bourbon lends structure. Clean, inviting aromas that promise a creamy biscuit sweetness and a touch of warmth.
Palate
Full-bodied yet bright at cask strength, this palate opens with creamy banana ice cream and vanilla toffee, followed by crisp orchard fruits. Spiced toffee notes blend with a touch of shortbread crumble, while subtle oak and white pepper lend warmth. The finish is long, fruity and softly savoury, with citrus lift and lingering bakery sweetness.
Finish
Long, silky finish of vanilla and toffee, with a creamy banana-ice cream sweetness at the core. Subtle spice threads warmth from the bourbon cask, while delicate biscuit and oak notes fade to a gently lingering sweetness.
