Tasting Notes
Colour
Radiant amber-gold with honeyed depth and a coppery shimmer.
Nose
Fresh tropical fruit and citrus mingle with light barley sweetness and runny honey. Gooseberry adds a tangy brightness, while creamy Greek yoghurt laces the aroma, yielding a vibrant, inviting nose that hints at the Sauternes influence without heaviness.
Palate
Fresh and zingy, the palate delivers honeyed sweetness with ginger biscuits, creamy greek yoghurt, and dried apricot, lifted by a subtle spice and peppery oak.
Finish
Tinned pineapple mingles with hints of chilli flake, salty citrus and honey-glazed cereal notes. Not as sweet as you might expect from a Sauternes finish, it remains balanced with a lively surge of fresh fruit character.
