Cask Strength Batch 2 showcases something entirely new from Lochlea, as Production Director John Campbell has selected a combination of Oloroso Sherry, STR and PX casks. This amplifies Lochlea's signature fruit, nut, and cereal flavours.
This Whisky opens with apples, peach syrup, and marmalade. Then comes wild lavender and rose petals on the palate. The finish is long and continues with more fruit and a hint of black pepper.

Deep amber with coppery highlights and a whisper of mahogany.
Nose
A bouquet of crisp apples, peach syrup and marmalade, brightened by wild lavender and rose petals. Subtle sherry-tinged sweetness and a hint of nutty cereal weave through, foreshadowing the cask-strength depth to come.
Palate
On the palate it opens with apples, peach syrup and marmalade, unfolding to a delicate wash of wild lavender and rose petals. A cereal-nut body provides texture, as more fruit returns on a long finish, finished with a subtle kick of black pepper.
Finish
Long, fruit-forward finish that lingers with apples, peach syrup and marmalade, slowly fading into a subtle black pepper warmth that sustains through the aftertaste.
