Using all first fill casks, we have used a combination of Oloroso Sherry butts, and Bourbon barrels to give flavours of sweet figs, red grapes and milk chocolate, followed by panna cotta, malt biscuits and honey. As usual, the signature Lochlea cereal note comes through in the finish to round off a dram we are particularly proud of.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm honeyed sheen.
Nose
Opulent on the nose, dark fig and red grape from Oloroso sherry mingle with bourbon vanilla. Creamy panna cotta and milk chocolate drift through honey and malt biscuit notes, while the signature Lochlea cereal note threads through, lending a warm, grainy sweetness.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, it opens with rich fig and red grape sweetness from the sherry casks, balanced by Bourbon vanilla. Milk chocolate glides in, followed by panna cotta and malt biscuits for a creamy, confectionary warmth. The characteristic Lochlea cereal note appears on the mid-palate and lingers into a honeyed, lightly spiced finish.
Finish
Long, creamy finish with the signature Lochlea cereal note gliding over notes of sweet figs, red grapes, milk chocolate, then panna cotta, malt biscuits and honey, fading to a warm malt echo.
