An unusual Ledaig from Chapter 7 here. A lightly peated single cask 24 year old has been bottled from a single ex-Bourbon cask. This is unpeated Tobermory has been matured in a Bourbon cask that previously held heavily peated Ledaig, resulting in a fascinating 'cross-over' style of whisky from the Mull distillery!

Nose
Maritime minerals mingle with vanilla and cotton candy; subtle herbal notes, ripe apricot, and a pear-driven oak frame.
Palate
Oily and mineral, the palate carries wet pebbles dusted with vanilla-infused sugar; a touch of smoke dries sultanas and citrus, leaving a crisp, lingering zest.
Finish
Salty cappuccino oak lingers, with pear and apricot sweetness carried by a maritime breeze, a creamy, restrained finish that slowly fades.
