The 3rd batch of Laphroaig from TBWC a release of 916 bottles and bottled at 13 years.
A classic Laphroaig nose, earth peat, smokey, a slight hint of iodine and also fruit, peaches and apricots. The palate is what you'd expect too. Medicinal peat smoke, sweet fruit and saltiness and a light gentle spice. The finish is very coastal with soft smoke, peppered crackers and a lingering dryness.
