Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with a coppery glow, shaded by mahogany and ruby undertones.
Nose
Arresting peat smoke, medicinal iodine and briny sea spray lead the nose, like Islay air after a rainstorm. Subtle sherry-warmed sweetness threads through figs and dried plum, while vanilla and oak add elegance, finishing with ash, leather and a refined, lingering maritime glow.
Palate
Peat smoke and medicinal iodine lead the palate, wrapped in coastal salt and ash. Sherry-matured sweetness surfaces as dark fig, raisin and cocoa, with hints of vanilla and toasted oak. Rich, oil-rich texture coats the mouth, a warming spice ebbing into a long, saline-smoked finish.
Finish
Long, maritime and smoky, with peat, iodine and sea-salt that linger on the palate. Subtle sherry sweetness threads through the smoke, then gives way to dark chocolate, leather and toasted oak. A warming, coastal finish that sustains a premium, medicinal glow before tapering to a refined, saline whisper.
