Tasting Notes
Colour
A rich, deep amber that glows with copper-gold highlights and a touch of mahogany at the rim.
Nose
Peat smoke and sea-salt brine rise against a rich sherry sweetness. Dried fig and raisin mingle with vanilla, toffee and toasted oak, while iodine and saline air weave through the aroma. A maritime Islay profile with luxurious cask-finish warmth.
Palate
Bold, creamy peat smoke marries velvety sherry sweetness with bourbon-cask depth. Vanilla, dried fruit and dark chocolate unfold over salted caramel, while hints of iodine, sea spray and coastal spice linger. The palate builds to a long, warming finish crowned by mineral smoke.
Finish
Long, mercurial finish of peat and sea spray, with iodine and smoke curling around a sweet sherry glow. Dried fruit and cocoa emerge as the heat ebbs, leaving a soft maritime warmth and a whisper of vanilla and spice that lingers like sunlight on the Atlantic.
