Lagg's heavily peated spirit matured for 30 months in ex-bourbon casks with a 6 month finish in ex-Oloroso sherry casks, bottled at 50% abv. The dram opens with chocolate hazelnut on the nose, moving to the palate with flavours of salted toffee, red fruits, and a big hit of peat. The close has more oak, caramel, and treacle sweetness.

Long, oak-forward finish of caramel and treacle sweetness, with lingering peat and a subtle sherry warmth; red-fruit echoes fade into a warm, persistent glow.
