Batch 1 is 100% matured in Bourbon Barrels for 36 months, and was produced using Concerto barley and water from the distillery borehole. The peat used is from North East Scotland and the peat level is 50PPM. It is non chill filtered with no additional colouring and is bottled at 50% abv. This Batch is a limited release of 10,000 bottles worldwide.

Colour
Rich golden amber with a warm copper glow.
Nose
Dense peat smoke drapes warm vanilla, toffee and honey, with a resinous, medicinal edge from North East Scotland peat. Coastal brine and sea spray mingle with green barley and citrus zest, while bourbon-barrel oak lends caramel-cream sweetness. A smoky, mineral finish suggests ash and coastal air, inviting bold maritime warmth.
Palate
Coastal peat and iodine lead the palate, tempered by creamy vanilla and toffee from the bourbon cask. Toasted oak and resinous barley add depth, while peppery spice and a lift of citrus zest sharpen the mid-palate. The finish is long and maritime, with medicinal peat, charred wood and a warm smoky tail.
Finish
A long, maritime finish where peat smoke lingers beside vanilla and caramel from the bourbon cask, settling into warm oak spice with a drying, mineral fade.
