A marriage of two 2006 distilates, matured for 12 years in bourbon barrels before being bottled at a cask strength of 59.5% abv.
The nose has a sweet note of caramel, mango and spice which is balanced by an underlying soot and ashy quality. The palate is immediately smokey but slowly tropical fruit, spice and BBQ meats emerge on the flavour spectrum. The finish is long and warming with a medicinal and saline edge.

Colour
Deep amber with coppery-bronze highlights.
Nose
Sweet caramel with mango and spice opens the nose, then a pronounced smoky, ashy undercurrent rises. Soot and mineral salt thread through, lending a coastal Islay character that lingers.
Palate
Opens with a brisk smoke, then tropical fruit and spice emerge, joined by savory BBQ-meat notes. At cask strength the heat is generous yet refined, leaving a warming, lightly medicinal-saline signature.
Finish
Long and warming, the finish lingers with medicinal iodine and a saline sea-breeze edge, as peat smoke softens and slowly fades into a warm, lasting glow.
