Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery warmth and a honeyed glow.
Nose
Cream soda sweetness mingles with maritime spray, white pepper and green seaweed. Zingy citrus rinds meet vanilla cookie dough, while oily menthol lifts the sooty peat, creating a coastal, briny invitation.
Palate
Oily yet vibrant on the palate, brine and citrus mingle with a creamy vanillin oak. Fruity liquorice threads weave through ash- and salt-kissed peat, with cooling menthol lifting the finish to smoky pear drops.
Finish
Zingy, creamy citrus curd notes linger with classic Islay maritime coastal character and sooty peat. Very well balanced, offering a lighter contrast to the tarry 16-year-old release.
