Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery-bronze highlights, a warm, glistening hue.
Nose
Salty citrus, white ash, iodine with a leafy green vegetal edge, chilli flake on seaweed, white pepper, sweeter and aromatic vanilla creeping in, along with pickled lime, hemp and preserved lemons.
Palate
Candied lemons with white pepper on seaweed rise beside green bell peppers and leathery vanilla, weaving through coastal peat, lime pickle and salted green apple, finishing in tarry, white-ash peat smoke.
Finish
More green peppers with salty citrus—especially lime—and dry vanilla oak. Vegetal peat tar smoke lingers long, ending with a chili-like, persistent spice.
