Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with sunlit honey highlights and a warm copper glow.
Nose
Peat smoke and sea spray rise, briny and medicinal, with sherry-fruited notes of dark cherry and dried berries. Beneath, vanilla and cocoa echo, a touch of toasted spice adding coastal warmth.
Palate
On the palate, bold peat and maritime salt mingle with a silky, oil-rich texture. Sherry cask influence delivers dark fruit—fig, raisin, plum—paired with cocoa, toffee and spice. The mouthfeel coats deeply, yielding a warming, peat-kissed finish with hints of leather and tobacco, true to Islay character.
Finish
Long and smoky, the finish slowly lingers with sea-salt and peat, like a coastal breeze. Subtle sherry sweetness threads through toasted oak and dark chocolate, while spice warms the palate and the mouth dries to a refined, lingering warmth.
