Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and copper-gold highlights, a warm, chestnut-bronze glow in the glass.
Nose
Peat smoke and sea spray mingle with rich sherry sweetness. Dried fig, plum and cherry glisten with hints of orange zest, toffee and cocoa, while toasted spices and a whisper of almond echo the cask's depth.
Palate
Peat and sherry duel on the palate: smoky Islay malt entwined with rich dark fruit—raisins, dates and fig—over cocoa, toffee and vanilla. Spices emerge softly, framed by creamy oak, while a touch of maritime salt keeps it bright, finishing long, warm and seductive.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish of peat and smoke, tempered by sherry sweetness. Dried fig and raisin over velvety oak with cocoa and spice. A sea-salt tang lingers as caramelized smoke fades to a gentle, enduring sweetness.
