Inchgower Flora & Fauna Single Malt Scotch Whisky 14 Year Old
In stock
Flora and Fauna, nicknamed by the late whisky writer, Michael Jackson, was a themed series of distillery only single malt whisky releases. Each distillery was given a particular creature as its symbol, which is elegantly displayed on each bottle's beautiful label.
Really the only available distillery bottling from Inchgower, usually a key part of the Bell's blend. It's also not one that independents see much of, so this is one of your only chances to try the output from this quietly elegant distillery.
The nose is light and delicate. There is a zesty tang with notes of sugary citrus, hints of hay and gentle breeze barley. Tones of blossom and apple peel with cocoa. The palate is fresh with hay and petals, notes of arak and balanced tannins. There are some spicy notes with crystallized stem ginger. The finish is medium with spice and a tangy citrus note.
