Nose
Vanilla bean, caramel and honey rise on the nose, carried by toasted oak and a whisper of coconut. Fresh orchard fruit—green apple and pear—brightens a subtle maltiness, while a gentle spice lingers. The ex-bourbon oak influence lends sweetness and refinement, hinting at a smooth, classic Irish blend.
Palate
Silky and accessible on the palate, Hinch delivers vanilla cream, honeyed orchard fruit and a gentle caramel sweetness from ex-bourbon casks. Subtle grain depth with toasted malt, a whisper of spice, and light oak. Smooth and balanced, it lingers with vanilla, citrus zest and a warm, comforting finish.
Finish
Silky and medium-long, the finish coats the palate with vanilla and honeyed oak, touches of cream and spice, and a citrus brightness that slowly fades to a warm, clean glow.
