A double matured Irish whiskey from the Hinch distillery. Initially matured in Ex Bourbon Casks before extra maturation in Virgin American Oak Barrels for a minimum of one year. This second maturation gives the whiskey subtle depth, natural colour and character as befitting the use of "two woods"

Colour
Golden amber with a warm, sun-kissed honey glow.
Nose
Vanilla and toffee lift with creamy sweetness, entwined with honey and a soft malt backbone. Orchard apple and pear fruit emerge, balanced by toasted oak. Virgin American Oak brings a whisper of coconut and spice, while a citrus zest adds brightness, hinting at the two-wood depth to come.
Palate
Silky on the palate, with vanilla and toffee from the ex-bourbon casks, deepened by virgin American oak. Subtle coconut, caramel and orchard fruit emerge, wrapped in a creamy, slightly oily texture. Balanced sweetness with a gentle oak lift and a touch of spice, leading to a long, warm finish of orange zest and toasted almond.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with vanilla and caramel from the bourbon cask, layered with toasted oak spice from Virgin American Oak. Creamy butter-toffee notes linger, giving way to a warm, comforting fade that leaves subtle orchard fruit and a softly resinous oak signature.
