Aged in for 11 years in Ex-bourbon American Oak and finished in the finest 500L Masi Amarone Casks for 12 months.

This whiskey has adopted a golden red hue with a nose exhibiting notes of mulled spices & floral fruies. The Palate is deep, luscious, satisfying and superbly balanced.

The Amarone Cask Finish is the perfect partnership of rich, red wine and iconic Hinch Irish Whiskey taste.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Delicate floral fruit aroma with purple fruits, elderberries and plums, opening to a perfumed, berry-rich bouquet.

Palate

Strong emphasis on fruits purple (elderberries, plums and blackcurrant's) followed by (sour cherry and red apple) ripe pear components an elegant cinnamon spice with a touch of dry red wine.
