Ha’Penny Original Whiskey is a very interesting and complex blend of Malt and Grain Irish Whiskeys. The Malt is a mixture of Sherry bodega and Bourbon cask matured malt. The Grain is a rare make up for an Irish Whiskey, it is a mixture of both corn and wheat grain Irish whiskey both matured in first fill bourbon casks.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Golden amber with a warm copper glow and honeyed depth.

Nose

A light honied sweetness lifts notes of green apple and apricot, with piney, grassy undertones and delicate hints of chocolate and red berries.

Palate

Silky on the palate, delivering crisp citrus with mint, honied cereal, crystallised ginger, white raisin, cinnamon, plum and cacao.

Finish

Silky vanilla lingers with subtle wood spice, leaving a warm, oak-kissed finish.
