Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with a coppery sheen and a whisper of mahogany.
Nose
Dark sherry-fruited aroma with prune, fig and orange peel, unfolding into honeyed toffee and vanilla. Rich sultana and cocoa mingle with polished oak, leather and a whisper of toasted spice. Subtle coastal salt and a gentle peat smoke lift the nose, finishing in a warm, amber glow.
Palate
Silken and complex on the palate, Highland Park unfolds resinous peat with honeyed fruit and subtle sherry sweetness. Dried apricot and fig mingle with vanilla as spice and oak build warmth. The finish is long and refined, with cacao, orange zest and a maritime whisper lingering.
Finish
Long, velvet finish, steeped in sherry sweetness. Dried figs, raisins and molasses mingle with cocoa and toasted almond, while a subtle peat embrace and orange zest thread through. Spicy oak and a gentle maritime bite linger, fading to a warm, refined glow.
