Tasting Notes
Colour
Burnished amber with coppery-gold highlights and a warm, honeyed sheen.
Nose
Cool peat smoke drifts over salted sea air, with honeyed heather and orchard fruit lending subtle sweetness. Dried orange peel and rich toffee mingle with vanilla, while a kiss of sherry spice—nutmeg and cinnamon—settles into graceful coastal oak.
Palate
Silky and well-balanced on the palate, this opens with honeyed sweetness and juicy orchard fruit, then sherry-tinged dried fruits—figs and raisins—fold into a light, resinous peat. Vanilla and toasted almond frame the middle, with a cocoa edge. A touch of maritime salt and spice carry through to a long, refined finish of smoke and warmth.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with gentle peat and sherry depth. Dried fig, orange zest and vanilla shimmer over toasted oak, while a kiss of sea salt lingers. Spices—cinnamon and clove—gradually fade into a warm, resinous smoke, leaving a refined ember on the palate.
