Tasting Notes

Colour

Golden-amber with coppery glow and a hint of mahogany at the edge, sunlit and warm.

Nose

Festive spice laces the nose with dates, toffee apples and stoned fruit, mingled with treacle and toasted almonds for a rich, inviting aroma.

Palate

Stewed fruit and subtle white pepper give way to light smoke, followed by Morello cherries, sultanas and oak.

Finish

Medium-bodied and spicy, the finish lingers with tart raspberries and a nutty accent, softly balanced by subtle oak and a final whisper of dried fruit.
