A very elegant Highland Park and the packaging adds a real extra dimension to this whisky! A sort of deconstructed michelin star restaurant of a Highland Park and well worth paying the extra for.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Earthy cranberry, smoked rose turkish delight, red liquorice, cherry jam, some leathery notes, ripe dark plums, dark chocolate on the forest floor.
Palate
Fat and juicy red fruit (think damsons and plums) aromatic smoke (cinnamon bark on a bonfire) white pepper, red liquorice, new leather, crunchy tannins, redcurrant jelly on smoked duck salami, dry rose wine or tawny port nuances.
Finish
Crunchy red berries, white pepper, sweet smoked meat, red liquorice, smoked fry's turkish delight bars, ripe plums and cinnamon compote. Spiced strawberry jam.
