Highland Park Cask Strength Release No. 1 Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Highland Park have released a new Cask Strength bottling to their award winning range. Cask Strength Release No. 1 is bottled straight from the cask, it’s Highland Park in its purest form, matured their way for you to savour your way – no restrictions, no rules.

An annual release, Highland Park Cask Strength is matured primarily in Sherry seasoned American oak casks, hand picked by Highland Park's Master Whisky Maker Gordon Motion. It is then bottled straight from the casks, un chill-filtered and with natural colour, producing a Highland Park with the classic honey, toffee, heather and lingering sweet smoke but with added complexity, depth and intensity.

There is nothing in this whisky other than the whisky itself. Nothing but the intensely balanced, award-winning spirit of Highland Park. It is at once sweet and smoky on the nose, with aromas of violets and ripe vanilla pods amidst waves of aromatic peat smoke.

On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, with soft toffee, heather honey, freshly grated nutmeg, and sun-ripened citrus fruits that give way to an exotically spiced crème brûlée finish.
